Professional Drummer and Percussionist | Handpan Instructor | Senior Drumming Coach

At the young age of 13, Jian Hao joined the 24 festive drum troupe of his high school, under the instruction of Mr Bernard Goh, the founder of well-known local percussion group, Hands Percussion Malaysia.

Jian Hao also has the experience of performing with Hands Percussion in many countries, including Holland, Belgium, Abu Dhabi, Taiwan, Eastern Europe Georgia, Singapore, China, Indonesia and other countries.

He often consulted with international Handpan players online, and through his own research and work found his own way of teaching the Handpan. He also wrote his first song ‘Satu’ during the Movement Control Order (MCO) put in place because of the Covid-19 pandemic, with lyrics by Bernard Goh and well-known local performing artist Zamzuriah Zahari.
